Training will be scheduled three times per week. Players are expected to attend all three sessions. It will be important that players attend training because practices are where much of the learning and development take place. We understand that occasionally conflicts arise in which the participant cannot attend a training session. Other activities (music lessons, other sports, homework, etc.) should be considered before committing to this program to avoid significant interruption of the required practice and game schedule.
Monday and Thursday training sessions will last 1 hour and 15 minutes. Wednesday sessions will last 1 hour.
Monday and Wednesday sessions will be ability based training sessions where players train in training groups with players of similiar skill sets. Thursday sessions will be a team training night.
Arkansas United Soccer Club formerly known as Little Rock Futbol Club has been a 501c3 nonprofit youth organization serving our community since 1980. Our principal mission is the promotion of youth soccer. We strive to instill a love for the game in each of our players and to provide an atmosphere where each player may participate and progress according to his or her interest and ability. We take great pride in developing our players as athletes, students and responsible young men and women. Our players form life-long friendships with their club mates, acquire leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship skills that ultimately prepare them for life beyond soccer.
