Board Member Information
The Board of Directors via the nominating committee will plan to recommend and nominate members for any known open board seat. If you are interested in being nominated to a Board of Directors seat, a short resume/bio must be sent to the current Vice President by Sept 10, 2023 EMAIL: Chris Kear
Who is eligible?
- Any Club member in good standing at the time of the meeting can be nominated by any other member who is also in good standing.
- The member being nominated does not have to be at the meeting to be elected, but ideally would know and be happy that they are being nominated.
Who can vote?
- Every member in good standing in attendance at the election can cas a vote for and eligible member vying for a seat.
- The person with the most votes wins the seat, even if it is not a majority of the votes cast for that seat.
- If there is a tie for the most votes, there will be a run off with the people who were tied, repeated till someone has the more votes.
How long is a term?
- The term of a board member is 3 years with a maximum of 3 terms elected consecutively.

Arkansas United Soccer Club formerly known as Little Rock Futbol Club has been a 501c3 nonprofit youth organization serving our community since 1980. Our principal mission is the promotion of youth soccer. We strive to instill a love for the game in each of our players and to provide an atmosphere where each player may participate and progress according to his or her interest and ability. We take great pride in developing our players as athletes, students and responsible young men and women. Our players form life-long friendships with their club mates, acquire leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship skills that ultimately prepare them for life beyond soccer.
